With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Sharrieff Lewis Anderson, affectionately known as “Reef,” who returned to Allah on July 7, 2025, at the age of 38. Born on June 24, 1987, in Plainfield, New Jersey, Sharrieff lived a life deeply rooted in family, faith, and community. He will be remembered for his warm smile, kindness, and generous spirit that touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Sharrieff was a proud graduate of Plainfield High School and built a career at Wakefern Food Corp. as a dedicated Quality Assurance Product Inspector. His colleagues admired his strong work ethic, reliability, and compassion, qualities that defined every aspect of his life.

Above all, Sharrieff’s life was guided by his Muslim faith, a foundation of strength, humility, and gratitude. These values shaped his roles as a father, son, brother, and friend. He loved music, discussing God, and expressing his timeless signature style through his choice of Ralph Lauren clothing.

Sharrieff’s greatest joy and proudest achievement was being a devoted father to his beloved children. He was their unwavering protector, patient teacher, and constant source of love and strength. The bond he shared with them is everlasting, and his presence will forever live on in their hearts.

Sharrieff was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lois and Joe Wesley, as well as his paternal grandfather, Caleb Anderson. He leaves to cherish his memory his six beloved children: Caprice, Kelis, Isreal, Quaran, Kasei, and Kennedi Anderson. He is also survived by his loving parents, Aletha Wesley and Calvin Anderson; his devoted sister, Alnisa Anderson, and brother-in-law, Nicholas Jones; as well as his two loving nieces, Zammiyyah and Zyhnae, and his nephew, Ahmaad (Jones). His immediate and extended family, along with countless friends, will remember him for his unwavering loyalty, deep love, and the light he brought into every space he entered.
