Patricia V Lassiter

Patricia V. Lassiter (Armstrong) of Union, New Jersey, passed away peacefully at the age of 95 on August 25, 2026, at the Mountainside Nursing Home, Mountainside, NJ.

Born on September 7, 1930, in Brooklyn, New York, Patricia lived a life defined by devotion to family and kindness. As a dedicated homemaker, she created a loving home and was the heart of her family. Her warmth and gentle spirit left a lasting impression on all who knew her.

Patricia was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Benjamin Lassiter, who passed away in 1997 after many cherished years of marriage.

She is survived by her sons, Wayne Lassiter (Pam), and Kevin Lassiter; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; her sister, Andrea Faulk; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Patricia found great joy in knitting and lovingly shared her handmade creations with family and friends. Through every stitch, she expressed her creativity, patience, and love.

Patricia will be remembered for her loving heart, and unwavering dedication to her family. Her life was a testament to the importance of love, compassion, and devotion, and her legacy will continue to live through the many lives she touched.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Patricia's memory to the Alzheimer's Association (Alzheimer's Association ) or VITAS Community Connection (vitascommunityconnection.org). The family extends its heartful gratitude to the staff of VITAS Hospice Care for the exceptional care, kindness, and comfort they provided to Patricia and her loved ones.

Though she will be deeply missed, Patricia’s legacy of love, and devotion to her family will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
