Norvell Pendelton Sr.

Mr. Norvell Pendleton of 21 Union Street, Carteret, NJ died on June 24, 2019 after a brief illness in JFK Hospital. He is precede in death by his wife Juanita. Sibling Gaynell, Alice, James, Howard and Robert. Mr. Norvell Pendleton was born in Lynchburg, VA on May 5, 1922 to the late Rad and Nannie Pendleton. Survived by one brother Gerhart, Sister in law Doreatha, two sons Norvell O. Pendleton Jr. of Carteret, NJ and Rowland L Pendleton Sr. of Edison, NJ. Grandchildren, Juanita (Melvin), Karen (Antoine Watts), Nadia (Ricardo Ramos), Asia, Harry, Danielle (John Armstrong) Rowland L. Jr. and Curtis. Nine Great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Long friend: Ms. Francis Norvell was a member of People AME Zion Church and he sang with the Adult choir. He served as a member of the trustee board. He retired from the US Metal Refinery Company, He was a member and treasurer of Carteret Senior Citizens Club and he coached Lille League and Pop Warner. He "loved" attending the Seniors' Christmas Party. He was a committed man. The family would like to thank all those who touch Norvell's life.
