Maurice Boatwright

Maurice Da’relle Boatwright, affectionately known as Moe, Reecy and Pete was born on July 31, 1981 and transitioned from this life on October 6, 2018. Maurice attended public school in Westfield, NJ and graduated from Westfield Senior High School in 1999. Following his high school years, Maurice attended Montclair State University and St. Paul’s College in Virginia where he played basketball for both teams. After College, Maurice played professional basketball for the New Jersey Lightning in the Eastern Basketball Alliance (EBA). The biggest joy of Maurice’s life came with the birth of his daughter Pariss Boatwright, who meant the world to him. Maurice was loved by many and will be dearly missed by all those who knew him.
