Schockeall Linda N Rivera

Schockeall Linda Neineta Rivera, 48, was born on December 14th, 1976, to Brucezetta Rivera and Elijah Davis. She departed this life on Monday, May 26th, 2025.

Schockeall was a lifelong resident of Plainfield New Jersey. She came up in the Plainfield school system and eventually would become an integral part of that system when she joined as a food service worker. Schockeall worked in various schools throughout her tenure which lasted fifteen years. She was a dedicated employee who never missed a day no matter the circumstances until she had a stroke in December 2024.

The city called her Linda, and she was loved in every corner from Rock Ave to Terrill Rd. Her name was synonymous with a few things but mainly being the life of the party. Schockeall brightened every room she entered. She laughed, she joked, she loved hard, and she was never afraid to say the first thing that came to her mind. She will be remembered for her loud, outgoing spirit, her willingness to tell it as it should be, and the fight she had in her to never give up no matter how hard things got!

Schockeall was preceded in death by her father Elijah Davis, brother Bruce Rivera, and nephew Rahmil Gordon.

She leaves to cherish in her memories her parents, Daniel and Brucezetta Duncan. Children, Jaquan & Tanta-Nasha Coles, and Haran Warren. Grandsons Jaxson, Carter, Jahsir, Damari, and Demarcus. Sisters, Kathy & Donna Rivera, and Danielle Duncan. Brothers, Bryan & Greg Rivera, Shawn Sloan (Latasha), Mahmood Hamid, Thomas Gissendanner, and Famous & Anthony Rivera. She also leaves seven aunts, six uncles, seventeen nieces and nephews, fourteen great nieces and nephews, and a great many first cousins.

Also, we would be remiss if we did not mention the lifelong friends Schockeall made along the way including Tina, Amanda, Driena, Tasha, Elonda, Meeka, Tatanisha and Tanoya. Her maschios family. And last but certainly not least her forever partner in life Saleem Doyle.
