It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Kyaira Patrese Holmes, affectionately known as “Keke,” who entered eternal rest on Monday, July 6, 2026.

Kyaira was a devoted mother, beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend whose intelligence, compassion, and generous spirit touched countless lives. A graduate of Amherst College and a dedicated leader with the New York City Board of Education, she was passionate about education, service, travel, and bringing joy to those around her. Above all, she treasured her daughter, Naomi, who was the center of her world.

Kyaira leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, strength, and unwavering devotion to her family and community. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.
