Katherine E Holbeck

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our beloved Katherine "Kyle" Holbeck. Born January 13, 2010, but unexpectedly left us on June 22, 2026 at the tender age of 16. While we feel tremendous loss we also acknowledge our gratitude for having experienced her loving and thoughtful nature. 

In her short life she shared her tremendous creative brilliance and passions, which made her such a fascinating artist and conversationalist. She deeply appreciated reading, art, Greek mythology, and so much more! She loved animals and experiencing nature. Kate appreciated a broad spectrum of music from classic rock to New Wave, Alternative, Electropop, and Industrial EDM - with artists and bands including Nine Inch Nails, Sleeping with Sirens, My Chemical Romance, Fall Out Boy, Pierce the Veil, Panic! at the Disco, The Beatles, and KeSha. 

Kate is an alumna of St Matthias School, class of 2024, and a rising Junior at St. Thomas Aquinas High School. She also studied art for several summers at Zimmerli Art Museum. 

She is survived by her loving parents, Brendon and Natasha Holbeck, siblings, Jaime and Kieran, grandfather, Charlie Holbeck, her sweet baby dogs Cloudy & Cody, many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends across the world. She is preceded by her grandfather Aubrey October, grandmothers Christobel October and Eleanor Holbeck, and her beloved dog Minnie.
