Johnnie Kee

Mrs. Johnnie L. Kee was born in Sumter County, Georgia on April 5, 1935 to the parentage of the late Mr. Henry S. Stephens and the late Blanchie Croxton Stephens. During her youth she became an active member of Antioch Baptist Church in Americus, GA. Johnnie moved to the state of New York in 1967 where she met her husband, Roosevelt Kee, Jr. There she became a member of Calvary Baptist Church, where she served as a Deaconess and Missionary. After retiring from the State of New York in 1995, she moved back to her hometown, Americus, GA. Johnnie moved to her eternal home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 29, 2019. Preceding her in death were two brothers: Mr. Henry Lee Stephens and Mr. James Authur Stephens; one sister, Mrs. Willie Mae Stephens Thomas. She leaves to mourn her passing, her husband, Rev. Roosevelt Kee; two sisters; Mrs. Frances James Zabala and Mrs. Ossie Tyson, all of Americus, GA; three children: Barry, Phyliss and Roosevelt; four grandchildren: Devon, Sabrina Keena and Raymond and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
