Dolores Smith

DOLORES SMITH, 94, of New Brunswick, NJ, passed away at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital on Friday, September 27, 2024. 

He was born on August 14, 1930, in South Bound Brook, NJ, to the late Frederick and Grace (Van Derveer) Smith. 

Dolores attended school in New Brunswick and graduated from Piscataway High School. Dolores was a God fearing woman! She loved going to church and reading her Bible every day. She loved the Lord!

Dolores was a Civil Rights Worker with her sister, Lillian Smith, and Ms. Shirley Chisholm. Dolores worked with South Brunswick school system until she retired. She loved working with the handicap children she assisted.

Her greatest love here on earth was her family, daughter, Pamela, son, Robert, and all of her grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Dolores was preceded in death by her brothers, James, John, Chester, Charles, and Raymond; sister, Doris, Lillian, and Shirley; son, Willie; and granddaughter, Kim (Aston).
