God's New Generation has finally earned their spot of becoming one of the world's most sought after sounds in Gospel Music.
This choir was formed in 1998 under the umbrella of the Curry Funeral Home Multiplex Center Corporation. The corporation is responsible for funding and ensuring that various scholarships are awarded to youth throughout the church community.
The first Live Recording Concert took place on June 6th of 1998. The crowd attending was very pleased and gave rave reviews. Since the beginning, God's New Generation has been called on by many to share its music ministry. Recently the choir performed at the 1999 McDonald's Gospel Music Fest.
This outstanding youth choir has also been invited to sing all over the country. I.e., Atlantic City, NJ, New Orleans, La., Delaware, Atlanta, Georgia, New York and Baltimore, Md., just to name a few.
Its members, ages 4 to 21 are chosen through auditions. The choir consist of students and members of various churches throughout New Jersey. Since its inception, God's New Generation has produced one live recording, and has just completed its first CD due over the Internet soon. It was recorded at the G.N.G. recording studio located in Westfield, NJ. The record industry has already predicted that this project will be amongst gospel music's best, which will include their number one song - "REDEEM".
God's New Generation is a choir made up of several children who, like many, have experienced different situations in life, but our ministry has provided hope and is focused on spiritually up-lifting our youth all over the world through our gospel music
